About the VIQI Core
The Vanderbilt Implementation and Quality Improvement (VIQI) Core promotes rigorous evaluation of initiatives to implement evidence-based practice and improve the quality, safety, and value of healthcare delivery. We provide consultation services as a component of the Center for Clinical Quality and Implementation Research (CCQIR), comprised of faculty and staff with expertise in a wide array of methodological areas in improvement and implementation science. Dr. Amanda Mixon serves as the Director of the VIQI Core.

- Implementation science: theories and frameworks, barriers/facilitators, strategies, outcomes
- Improvement science: QI frameworks and tools
- Study design (including hybrid designs, quasi-experimental and pragmatic clinical trials)
- Selection of appropriate measures and metrics
- Mixed methods program evaluation
- Systems-level process change (process mapping)
- Data visualization
- Grant and manuscript preparation
